Smart Remove Brush in VectorScribe2

posted by: Iaroslav Lazunov, in Illustrator Tips / Tool/ Comments: 0

From now on users of the new version of the VectorScribe v2 have the opportunity to apply the Smart Remove Point feature in a more simple and intuitive manner using Smart Remove Brush Tool. This also allows you to set Path Changes, Tolerance and protect the selected points from being deleted. Smart Remove Brush Tool is a great way to simplify your artworks.

There are various processes in Adobe Illustrator, as a result of which we get extra points. We have an unreasonable amount of points, converting the 3D objects into regular vector objects, after the command Object > Expand Appearance.

We are facing this problem after applying the command Object > Path > Outline Stroke to brush strokes or to variable stroke paths.

Artworks and textures obtained through applying the Live Trace feature to bitmap images have an abnormal amount of points.

Even drawing tools e.g. Pencil Tool (N) may cause an excessive amount of points along the generated path.
